For debtor education certificates, we can file your clients' certificates directly with the court at no extra charge. When a client enters your attorney code and completes the debtor education course, their certificate is filed within 1-2 business days, and you receive an email notification of the filing from the Pacer system. As requested by the Executive Office of the US Trustees, Attorney is reminded that, to the extent Abacus grants a client a waiver of credit counseling fees, Attorney a) shall refund waived fees to the client if the client already has paid Attorney for counseling fees, or b) shall not bill the client for waived fees if the client has not already paid the Attorney for counseling fees.
